Gucci @ Castel Del Monte.
As the fashion industry continues to return to some semblance of post-pandemic normality, Gucci is the latest label to announce that Alessandro Michele will present his latest fashion show at Castel Del Monte in the Apulia region of Italy.
Set to take place this coming May 16th, the location perpetuates Michele’s penchant for showing in historic places, this time around opting for the Castel Del Monte, a site protected as a World Heritage Site since 1996.
Noting the destination’s “formal perfection and harmonious blending of various elements from Northern Europe, the Islamic world and classical antiquity,” the Castel ideally represents a crossroads of different cultures, religions and ideals – embodying the Mediterranean.
Alongside choosing the location as the show’s venue, Gucci will also support an enhancement project of the historical site, which will improve the visitor experience.
