Arriving soon.
Infamous streetwear label CLOT and East Coast heritage brand Timberland have joined forces for the first time ever to unveil an Eastern culture-inspired capsule collection, that features both garments and footwear.
Taking to their Instagram to announce the collaboration, CLOT stated that this collection looked to bring an “Eastern culture-inspired take on classic New England styles” by utilising dragon imagery throughout, a figure that has historically stood as a legendary folk figure in China. The nods to Eastern culture don’t start and end with dragon imagery however, with the collection’s selection of t-shirts, hoodies, workwear trousers, and Harrington jackets utilising Chinese silk embroidery designs, traditional Eastern colour palettes, and classic Chinese patterning to further extend the range’s nod to Eastern culture. The central standout of the collection arrives in the form of CLOT’s vibrant take on Timberland’s classic 3-Eye Lug Handsewn boat shoe, which arrives in “Wheat” and “Black” iterations and features a reinterpreted raised toe, white stitching, red sock linings, multi-colour rope laces, as well as two different coloured variations of Chinese folk silk embroidery.
The CLOT x Timberland collection is set to be available via the JUICE website on July 20th.
