Beating the deadstock dilemma.
Swedish brand EYTYS have come together with Paris-based couture designer Sevali for an environmentally-aware upcycled capsule collection.
Featuring a host of unisex ready-to-wear and footwear pieces, this collaboration between EYTYS and Sevali transforms EYTYS’ deadstock garments and fabrics and transforms them into reimagined one-of-one pieces. The idea came from EYTYS’ desire to beat the deadstock dilemma and sidestep conventional warehouse sales by tapping designer Sevali, who makes upcycled couture from mattresses, metro tickets and car seats under his own label, with these unique pieces having been seen on the likes of A-list celebrities Alexa Demie and Rosalía.
The pieces in this capsule collection reference Mediterranean club culture and bring in a host of vibrant animal motifs, with some standouts including a dark-wash denim jacket with tan leather tracing, a pair of similarly coloured tie-dye jeans, as well as a pair of graphic print tiger trousers.
The EYTYS x Sevali upcycled capsule collection is available to shop today, August 11th, via the EYTYS website.
