Coming off the back of the release of ‘Drop 2′, Nigo-led KENZO are back with the third drop from their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, titled ‘Urban Uniforms.’
Leaning into a mixture of Eastern and Western influences for this drop, Nigo looks to blend military stylings with different tailoring styles that range from traditional Western shapes to more flowing Eastern silhouettes. The collection keeps to traditional light and earthy tones for the most part, utilising a host of navy, pink, khaki, beige and pale blue shades for a selection of pieces, which include kimono-wrap tops, three-button blazer suits, hooded jackets, and suit pants. These pieces also boast a selection of traditional Western prints such as pinstripe, plaid, and solid-colour designs, whilst also arriving in a mixture of wool and cotton compositions. The standout from the released range is the jungle camouflage print that is present across a host of pieces, including outdoor wear like anoraks and padded jackets as well as bottom pieces such as pants, skirts, shorts.
