Continuing the brand's sustainability initiative
With the fashion world striving for more sustainable approaches to garment making, Balenciaga has been a big-name player in this movement through its investments in carbon removal projects as well as sponsoring agroforestry projects. The Spanish heritage brand is now taking this one step further through its new Re-Sell Program.
With the help of Reflanut’s network of secondary marketplaces, customers can now drop off their Balenciaga pieces at select stores for inspection, authentication and professional photography. The products are then listed and once sold, the seller can either choose to be compensated monetarily or through Balenciaga store credit which has a 20% higher buyout value than cash to incentivise the cyclical process.
Check out the program’s webpage for more information.
