With stores already in Korea, China and Kuwait, Hong Kong is Byredo's latest location in Asia.
Located in the heart of Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, the Swedish fragrance company joins a large roster of major retailers in one of Hong Kong’s biggest shopping districts. The new space taps into influences from late Swedish architect Sigurd Lewerentz with a dark grey brick exterior. The monotony is contrasted with saturated pops of furniture, especially in the form of the lacquered mechanical table in a bold orange as well as a cowskin daybed all designed by Halleroed and Byredo.
The new space will also feature the full range that Byredo has to offer from perfumes to eyewear to “Byproduct”, an extension of the brand that explores ventures outside of the beauty industry with craftsmanship in mind. Some products include a fine jewellery capsule and camping equipment.
