The first instalment under the "Art of Fila" concept is available now
With the aim of showing off the industry through many creative forms, Fila has decided to spotlight the subculture of parkour along with the community behind it and the importance of consistently training all year round. To do this, they have gone to Brighton to talk to respected athletes within the sport, Joe Scandrett and Rachel Gough with Robbie Griffith and Stanislava ‘Stani’ Kirilova, to discuss their experiences with parkour and what the sport means to them.
For the clothing itself, the pieces are adorned with the classic Fila F-Box Logo in a wide range of sportswear silhouettes mainly in their signature red, white and navy colour scheme, perfectly blending aesthetic and function in the process. Stand-out items include the Gerardos Track Top and matching ribbed Pryor pants as well as velour pieces that are a definite throwback to the early 2000s in the wake of Y2K’s rising popularity.
