Continuing to take steps to reduce their environmental impact, Dsquared2 have stepped forward with the second season of their ‘ONE LIFE ONE PLANET’ Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.
Looking to go “beyond the product”, Dsquared2’s latest creative venture sees the Canadian-born brand look to alter its corporate culture for the good of the environment. Since February 2022, the 1994-founded house has had several departments of the company undergo an educational program aimed at defining the proper significance of sustainability and forming clear guidelines for future steps.
Being composed of recycled nylon, organic cotton and recycled cashmere, the environmentally-aware collection is pitched as boasting an air of “positive energy, curiosity and enthusiasm”, with the Dsquared2 ‘ONE LIFE ONE PLANET’ collection being formed of a wide selection of technical outerwear and familiar brand favourites, with pieces including puffer gilets and jackets, windbreakers, knitted jumpers, hoodies, rucksacks, boots and more. Coloured in autumnal shades of yellow, orange and green alongside cooler tones of blue and teal, several pieces also don clear Dsquared2 branding and ‘ONE LIFE ONE PLANET’ text, with highlights from the range including a dark green cropped corduroy sheered jacket with Dsquared2 branded patches, a yellow puffer gilet adorned with a purple recycle graphic print, as well as an orange puffer side bag.
