California Dreaming.
Los Angeles-born fashion outfit The Elder Statesman have consistently shown their fun-loving ethos throughout their past collections, with this Pre-Fall 2023 collection being no different.
Framing their newest pieces on the beachfront, The Elder Statesman’s founder Greg Chait captured the Californian feel of the brand, once again placing detailed craftsmanship on top. Returning back to home comforts, the Pre-Fall 2023 collection features a laid-back aesthetic, with many brand signatures making their customary appearances as patchwork designs, beaded detailing, contrasting colours, and richly textured patterns dominate the range. The garments shown in this pre-season line-up include a variety of knitted sweaters, cardigans and vests, trousers, textured shorts, skirts and dresses, button-down shirts, as well as a host of standout footwear. The highlights from the collection include a pair of multi-coloured patchwork shorts with a roughened textured outer lining, a pair of neon-style beaded slip-on shoes, a gradient-effect green and orange button-down shirt, as well as an illustrative sweater vest that boasts designs from collection-collaborator Mami Wata, who are a South African brand.
