Inspired by the fond memories of Fendi family vacations, Silvia Venturini Fendi has designed a collection for the eager explorer that awaits the vacation season. Formed through the creative lens of Nico Vascellari, the campaign features a dark blue background that symbolises the sea and sky – what meets the eye when flying from place to place.
The colour palette reflects the earth’s elements from melon and indigo to ochre, putty, cornflower blue and silver grey with watercolour-like smudging. Silhouettes are oversized and receive distressed treatment for a contrast between luxury and grungy styles as well as the inclusion of the favourited FF monogram which can be seen consistently throughout the capsule. Souvenir-esque tropes are also present through tassel and soft fringe detailing to further emphasise the vacation theme.
