RETERNITY is dropping its most elaborate collection since its inception in 2018. The Germany-based fashion label has an 18-piece capsule in the works, including t-shirts, jackets, knits, and a bag.
Founded by Tom Schmidt and Lauren Riedel, RETERNITY has shifted dramatically in the last five years. The brand began as an at-home streetwear label, printing clothing from their own homes. Over the years, the brand has developed an ethos for transitioning youth-centric garments into a more mature and timeless medium.
Their most recent collection reflects that. Titled Steps to Heaven, the capsule includes immortal looks, utilizing craftsmanship and timeless cuts to create intricate designs. Spearheading the release is a selection of hooded jumpers and zip-ups, including complex hardware detailing, minimal RETERNITY branding, and unique green knits.
The denim has an acid-wash look, expanding on basic silhouettes with stitching over the crotch, cargo-style pockets, and threaded tears throughout the legs. The brand is launching a matching denim workwear jacket, along with a black monochromatic iteration and a black and white varsity coat. Complimenting the comprehensive outerwear is a range of graphic t-shirts, some with full body imagery and others with colourful hues. Accessories are in abundance as well, with the brand completing the capsule with an “R” logo cap and a leather side bag featuring a slouchy cutout.
As RETERNITY eagerly anticipates the release of Steps to Heaven, they look forward to furthering their brand identity and recognition for exceptional craftsmanship by improving their wholesale business with some of the industry’s retail juggernauts. At the beginning of the order round, RETERNITY had just 4 existing customers in their rolodex. Today, the brand is happy to announce that they’ve opened 20 more doors spanning across Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Asia, and more. BSTN and Breuninger headline these recent additions, along with People’s Place and Titolo.
