Having a larger than life tendency all year round, luxury Spanish fashion house Balenciaga continue to go bigger as they debut a limited 3XL sneaker campaign.
Celebrating their footwear as of late, Balenciaga follow up their Circuit sneaker campaign with a new entry into their ongoing 3XL efforts, with this latest selection of imagery highlighting models Daniel and Lise wearing the modern classic sneakers. Shot through the lens of Chris Lensz, Balenciaga’s 3XL sneaker campaign is set in an average domestic setting to contrast against Balenciaga’s stark aesthetic, with the spotlight being shone on the 3XL in a monochromatic eggshell colourway. The pair itself exaggerates classical elements of an archetypical high-performance running shoe and merges them with a super-wide silhouette, boasting a technical mesh composition and thickened laces, creating a varied field of textures. The modern tech is taken down a peg as a distressed iteration of the 3XL is brought into the fold, evoking the 3XL’s original vintage inspiration.
