Wash ‘em.
adidas and End. have cooked up a tongue and cheek, three-piece sneaker collection inspired by what happens when you mix a brightly coloured sock in the wash with your whites.
They’ve put three of their fastest growing silhouettes under a magnifying glass, including the Gazelle, SL-72 and Prototype TRX in the collection. The latter being it’s first introduction to the fashion world.
The shoes are reworked with a bespoke dyeing process to mimic the soft yet permanent result of mixing your wash the wrong way. Each sneaker represents a different stage of wash, kicking off with the SL-72, which portrays the pre-dyed stage. The Gazelle shows us what happens when you wash a red sock with white clothing, featuring different shades of white, pink and red across the suede upper. Lastly, their Prototype TRX takes a similar approach to the Gazelle, swapping out reds for greens, with each shoe being elevated with co-branding throughout, most notably with an END. logo on one end and the adidas Trefoil on the other.
END. will release the sneakers online, as well as statement stores in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Milan.
