Let the Festivities Begin.

Burberry’s regularly scheduled Chinese New Year celebrations are upon us, with the ‘Year of the Snake’ being the focus point of their latest collection.

Teaming up with Qian Lihuai, a well-respected bamboo weaver from China, Burberry debut their latest collection alongside nine bamboo sculptures, titled “Us.” Championing themes of connection, support, family and love, the art pieces make up a connected whole whilst also standing alone individually, underlining these overarching familial ties. Coming through with a red-themed collection in recognition of China’s lucky colour, Burberry’s ‘Year of the Snake’ collection sees the British fashion house’s signature checkered print receive a new red makeover in addition to a new “B snake” motif, a growingly-popular symbol in the world of fashion. The pieces themselves include everything from large chunky knit mohair scarves, pebbled-leather handbags, knitted jumpers, button-down shirts, and track jackets to hats, tailored trousers, and chunky sneakers.

Burberry’s ‘Year of the Snake’ collection is available to shop now in stores and online.
