A New Frontier.
Atorie – the cutting-edge marketplace that connects luxury fashion manufacturers directly with consumers – has officially made its New York Fashion Week debut.
Showcasing last week, Atorie put forward its mission status in a big way, heading to “The Big Apple” to underline how it helps luxury factories launch and showcase their spin-off brands. Hitting the runway for FW25, Atorie’s first-ever show highlighted some labels exclusively distributed by Atorie, such as Half Work, an artisan brand that specially produces handmade Italian leather bags. Bridging the gap between high-fashion and streetwear culture, Atorie’s runway effort saw Nolitadirtbag – an ever-present voice in ironic New York commentary – narrate the showing, bringing forward his classically raw and unapologetic perspective whilst talking the audience through New York neighbourhoods. Styled by leading creative Cyrenae Tademy, the show featured a dynamic mix of forward-thinking silhouettes, deconstructed tailoring, and high-quality, premium materials, merging streetwear influences with high couture elements.
Continuing to double down on its focused plan of action, Atorie utilised the runway display to continue to challenge the traditional luxury fashion model, distancing themselves from the many fashion brands that adopt a façade to justify inflated prices by speaking directly to Gen Z, embracing the digital natives who view fashion from a more authentic place.
Redouane Ramdani, co-founder and CEO of Atorie, puts it like this:
“Our goal is to bring high quality to the masses and offer a sustainable alternative to fast fashion. By partnering with these luxury factories, we can provide premium products at affordable prices, focusing on materials and silhouettes. Our generation recognizes that many luxury markups aren’t justified, and we’re here to offer a solution.”
