Coach Jacket Turns Technical.
Stone Island has unveiled their Mussola Prisatica “Pietra” jacket for Spring/Summer 2025, modelled by esteemed film producer and die-hard New York Knicks fan, Spike Lee.
Tapping Lee for this coach jacket makes more sense than it seems. Since 1985, Lee has been a season ticket holder with the New York Knicks, tormenting opposing players as a second coach on the opposite sideline. His ability to transcend film and sporting privilege is represented with Stone Island reimaging the coach jacket with a cotton muslin material.
Laminated with polyurethane film, a trend in their Spring/Summer 2025 offerings, the jacket illuminates with a stone beige hue. Achieved through a pigment dye and special resin, the jacket transforms the standard coach jacket into a fashion staple.
