Continually reinventing and reworking its popular silhouettes, Balenciaga has returned to its Speed Trainers to update the model with laces and a bold colourway.
Reimagining the simplified model which arguably changed the sneaker market, the latest drop from Balenciaga sees the Speed Trainer crafted with a mid-top stretch knit upper which appears in a striking fiery red hue. Adding a traditional lacing system to the previously lace-less model, the Speed Lace Up Trainers are rounded out with a rib-knit collar, a treaded black rubber sole unit, as well as an embossed logo on the heel and ‘BALENCIAGA’ branding on the forefoot.
