Balenciaga Go Even Bigger with New 10XL Sneaker

Balenciaga never shy away from a statement, and as we’ve previously seen, that can go one of two ways. However, for Spring/Summer 2024 the Spanish fashion house have levelled up their footwear range with the introduction of a long-awaited pair.

Serving up their new 10XL sneaker, Balenciaga follow on from their yesteryear efforts, which included enlarged silhouettes like the Cargo, Defender, and Triple S trainers, by underlining their true affection for a slightly bloated shape. Taking a classic gym shoe design and giving it a road-ready luxury makeover, the high-fashion powerhouses hit the nail on the head with their campaign tagline as they exert their “Larger Than Life” attitude across their new footwear entries, with grey/yellow, white/grey/black, and grey/pink/black colourways being put up for grabs. Championing comfortability, a lightweight design underlines an advancement from the Triple S heyday, whilst a minimal slanted Balenciaga “B” midfoot emblem takes a minimal approach to branding.
