Moncler and Mercedes-Benz have teamed up with multi-talented Japanese creative NIGO for an exciting new collaboration, blending archival design, street culture, and timeless luxury. The Moncler x Mercedes-Benz by NIGO collection, alongside the limited-edition G-Class Past II Future vehicle, is a celebration of ’80s and ’90s aesthetics infused with the vibrant energy of New York hip hop.
NIGO, known for his work as a designer, entrepreneur, record producer, and DJ, is no stranger to combining cultural influences and historical references in his creations. “I always refer to the past,” he explains. “In Japan, there is a saying that goes, ‘Learn from the past to create something new.'” Drawing on this philosophy, NIGO explored the rich histories of both Moncler and Mercedes-Benz, as well as his own lifelong passion for music, to create this dynamic three-pronged collaboration.
The collection marks NIGO’s entry into the Moncler Genius roster, where he has infused his personal touch into the brand’s world while incorporating Mercedes-Benz’s instantly recognisable iconography.
