Back to the '80s.
Palace and Dr. Martens have teamed up to release three bold versions of the iconic 1461 shoe, inspired by a quirky 1988 trend started by Matt Goss of Bros, who famously added Grolsch bottle caps to his laces. Each pair in this new collection comes with a Palace-branded bottle cap lace charm as a nod to that moment.
Available in Black, Cherry Red, and Woodland Camo, the shoes are made from Vintage Smooth leather adorned with signature yellow welt stitching and a custom heel loop reading “Palace” instead of “AirWair” round out the design, marking a first in Dr. Martens’ history.
The campaign features punk poet John Cooper Clarke, Palace skaters Charlie Birch and Lucien Clarke, model Serena Motola and of course, a dog.
