Converse and Rick Owens DRKSHDW are back, pushing design limits with the TURBOWPN Ox. This new low-top reimagines their signature exaggerated and avant-garde look, as seen in their ongoing collaboration. The TURBOWPN Ox boasts a striking, inflated upper, reimagining the classic silhouette while staying true to the Converse x DRKSHDW blend of style, comfort, and rebellious spirit.
Drawing inspiration from the original Converse Weapon, Owens utilises the TURBOWPN Ox to play with scale and form. By twisting the lines and elements of the classic court shoe, he crafts a design that simultaneously honours its heritage and boldly ventures into the future.
The TURBOWPN Ox showcases a high-quality leather upper, inflated to dramatic new dimensions for a truly unique look. This exaggerated design is paired with an extended tongue, an amplified midsole, and a distinctive DRKSHDW logo. Comfort and cushioning are provided by a CX foam midsole with supportive midfoot pods. Further details include a signature Rick Owens wrap-around woven label, a sawtooth outsole, and a sculpted rubber heel.
The TURBOWPN Ox is available in Black and Oyster colourways, aligning with the collaboration’s established palette, often featuring understated neutrals that sharply contrast the daring, avant-garde shapes.
The Converse x DRKSHDW TURBOWPN Ox is now available at Converse.com, RickOwens.eu, Rick Owens shops, and select retailers.
