As part of Style Lounge Weekend 2025, the “Style Lounge Platform Showroom” opened its doors in Accra, Ghana, offering a dedicated space to celebrate and spotlight emerging African designers. More than just a display, the showroom is a curated platform designed to give real visibility and support to rising fashion talent across the continent.
Housed at the Kempinski Galleria, the showroom reimagines retail as a cultural and community-driven experience, designed for the continent’s next generation of designers.
The initiative is led by Nuel Bans’ creative and cultural agency Debonair Afrik, and offers a rare intersection of commerce, creativity, and visibility. It stands as a much-needed antidote to the structural challenges that have long limited opportunities for emerging African designers.
