Weekday is kicking off the season with a campaign built around one simple idea: a blank space. Leaving their customers and community to fill in the negative space and replace empty words with motifs of confidence.
The campaign tagline idea may bring you back to Calvin Klein’s clever advertising with the “In My Calvins’ campaign where celebrities posed in the brand’s underwear line with their own personal statements.
This season, the brand is taking charge to integrate personality and connection to finding unique identity within the new lines. Managing Director at Weekday, Kim Holm says ““Choose to ___ is all about the moment. It’s a mindset for now — for dressing, expressing, and choosing who you are today.” Perhaps, this is a strategy to slow down the need for fast-fashion consumerism and instead promote a way of dressing that is focused on Autumn/Winter staples that are designed to sync with the season.
