Merrell’s 1TRL Gets a Dime Redesign in New Collaboration

Sneaker of the Year?

Merrell might just have its big one. Linking up with Montreal-based clothing brand Dime, American Merrell is continuing to push the hiking and outdoor footwear scene forward, with his latest collaboration seeing the 1TRL Cham Redux SE model get a double redesign.

Despite having a background of minimalist colour schemes and stripped-back silhouettes, Merrell’s latest release with Dime goes completely the other way, putting forward two standout “Black Sesame” and “Blaze” colourways of the 1TRL Cham Redux SE that scream “urban explorer.” Made for two different sets of people, the former “Black Sesame” iteration is for the stealthy city-slickers who want to move in darkness, with the pair’s action-ready composition working around a black, grey, and sesame beige gradient, whilst the subtle blacked-out “DIME” typeface sits pretty on the laterals. The more than vibrant “Blaze” take is for those that want to make statement right here, right now, boasting a sunset-like orange to magenta gradient that contrasts starkly against a riveted black rubber “FLOATMAX” sole unit.  The ever-changing 1TRL “Cham” Redux SE encapsulates the essence of what its middle name stands for:  Chameleon. Allowing you to weave your way between walking, running, hiking, and back to walking again, the Dime x Merrell 1TRL Cham Redux SE aims to evolve with you, adapting to any environment you find yourself in.

The Dime x Merrell 1TRL Cham Redux SE will be available to shop on September 27th via the Dime website and in select Merrell 1TRL retailers on October 2nd.
