Farah Marks 100 Years with The Archive Capsule

By December 12, 2025FASHION NEWS

A Century in the Making.

Farah’s 100-year legacy is reinterpreted in its new unisex capsule collection, The Archive – a showcase of the brand’s evolution from American workwear roots to a uniform of British counterculture.

Founded in Texas in 1920, Farah established its spiritual home in the UK during the late 1960s, when the brand’s signature hopsack trouser and iconic gold ‘F’ tab logo were adopted by a range of British style subcultures – from Mods to Rude Boys, Casuals and Indie Kids.

The 16-piece capsule includes the Pendale Hopsack Jacket, reviving a 1970s Western silhouette with pearl snaps and a wide collar. The Carranza V-Neck Jumper, crafted in Italy in a rich wool blend with an all-over jacquard, nods to the 1980s as seen through the lens of British football culture. Meanwhile, the Montwood Corduroy Western Shirt brings back a 1970s classic with curved yoke detailing and pearl snaps that recall Farah’s American origins.

With this collection, Farah documents its past while highlighting its endurance, clothing that has always been about more than trends, grounded instead in identity, community and belonging.

The Farah Archive collection is available at farah.co.uk and select retailers.
