Blending Parisian style with Korean Hanok architecture.
AMI Paris has unveiled its new evolving flagship store in Hannam, Seoul, marking a significant new chapter in the brand’s global retail journey. Opened on the 18th January at 45 Itaewon-ro 55ga-gil in Yongsan-gu, the 425-square-metre space is now the brand’s largest flagship worldwide, introducing a reimagined Parisian wardrobe and gathering place inspired by the principles of traditional Korean Hanok architecture.
Designed as more than a boutique, the multilevel flagship is conceived as an urban retreat that reflects Seoul’s contemporary spirit while fostering intimacy and connection. Visitors are guided through an underground passage into the Ami Garden, a landscaped oasis of local trees, before entering the main space. Inside, dark oak, granite and Maljat stone are paired with beige lime-wash, gold accents and mirror finishes, while custom furniture and Hanji-inspired lighting create a warm, residential atmosphere.
The store also inaugurates an artist residency in collaboration with Pipe Gallery, beginning with works by Korean-French artist Chansong Kim. With its blend of fashion, architecture and art, the Hannam flagship reflects AMI Paris’ vision of creating a home wherever its community gathers, uniting Parisian ease with Korean craftsmanship and cultural dialogue.
