Courrèges Names Drew Henry As Its New Artistic Director

By March 31, 2026FASHION NEWS

Taking The Helm.

The announcement comes just weeks after Nicolas Di Felice officially stepped down following a transformative five-year tenure that fundamentally repositioned the house as one of Paris’s most exciting propositions. Di Felice turned a beloved archive brand into a label that genuinely resonated with a new generation.

So who exactly is Drew Henry? The 38-year-old South African designer from Mpumalanga built his foundation learning pattern construction in Johannesburg before graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2014, what followed was one of the more enviable career paths in contemporary fashion: Céline under Phoebe Philo, Design Director at JW Anderson, back to Philo for her long-awaited comeback brand, and most recently Senior Design Director at Burberry under Daniel Lee.

He assumes the position officially in May 2026, with his debut runway collection set for Paris Fashion Week in September — and with the bar Di Felice left behind, the industry will be watching very closely.
