Willy Chavarria & adidas Originals Unveil A New Chapter

When speaking with Willy Chavarria earlier this year, he returned to a core idea that has long underpinned his work: a commitment to expressing unity and love through design. It’s a sentiment that feels especially resonant now, and one that finds clear form in his latest drop with adidas Originals.

Some collaborations move product. Others attempt to say something. This one does both, while leaning firmly into the latter. At its centre sits the Chavarria Superstar, a deeply personal reinterpretation of the adidas Superstar, one of the most culturally embedded silhouettes in footwear history. Here, it’s transformed through a sculpted rose shell toe, an intervention that feels less like decoration and more like authorship. It is immediate, symbolic, and unmistakably his. Offered in two colourways, the sneaker anchors a wider wardrobe shaped by Chavarria’s distinct visual language. Tailored bombers, pinstriped tracksuits, structured cargo jackets and embroidered crewnecks extend the narrative, balancing workwear codes with a sense of ceremony, and craft with conviction.
