Converse 1908 Reworks the Pro Leather with Tyler, The Creator

Tyler, The Creator is back with another Converse 1908 release, this time focusing on one of the brand’s OG basketball silhouettes. Joining the line-up for the latest drop is the new Converse 1908 Pro Leather, accompanied by two leather editions of the Converse 1908 Jogger in black and white.

Initially launched in 1976, the Pro Leather helped define basketball footwear before finding a second life off the court. For 1908, Tyler reworks the silhouette with his own creative touch, taking inspiration from b-boy culture and the custom footwear scene.

A wider toe, oversized eyelets, chunky laces and an embossed star across the upper give the Pro Leather a distinctive new look, while premium full-grain leather and archival details, including the Star Chevron, remain true to Converse’s heritage. Debossed GOLF le FLEUR branding completes the design, with the silhouette launching in two colourways: White and Amazon.*

Alongside the Pro Leather, the Converse 1908 Jogger returns in black and white leather, offering a cleaner take on the low-profile runner introduced in previous seasons. Together, the release continues Tyler’s ongoing reinterpretation of Converse’s archive.
