BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE is looking beyond Earth for its latest series, WARP, taking inspiration from the movement and light of outer space.
The collection uses enamel material printed on both sides, creating a visual contrast between the two surfaces. One side captures the feeling of high-speed movement, while the reverse evokes distant light travelling through space.
The concept plays with both micro and macro perspectives, with three colourways each offering a different interpretation. White Mix reflects the energy of liftoff, Red Mix captures speed and heat, while Blue Mix represents converging light.
With WARP, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE continues to explore the relationship between its geometric designs and the world beyond them, turning a familiar accessory into something more atmospheric and otherworldly.
