Juergen Teller Takes Givenchy to the Croatian Coast for FW26

A Refreshingly Raw Take on Sarah Burton’s Givenchy

Sarah Burton takes Givenchy out of the studio and into nature for FW26. Heading to the rocky cliffs of Croatia, the House calls on Juergen Teller to capture its latest campaign, with Kaia Gerber leading a cast that also includes Eva Herzigova, Liu Wen, Nyaduola Gabriel and Constance Debré. Shot against the rocky backdrop, Teller’s signature raw approach feels right at home, letting the clothes and the unfiltered beauty of each model do much of the talking.

There’s something refreshing about seeing Givenchy this stripped back. Burton and Teller keep things deliberately unstaged, with just concrete and water in view, creating a campaign that almost feels like snapshots taken from a fitting that took place on the cliffs. The models are stripped back too; there’s no perfect hair or overdone glam, with most appearing bare-faced and practically untouched.

You may have recognised a few faces from previous Givenchy moments under Burton. The women have been part of the world she’s been building at the House, including the FW26 show and previous campaigns, giving this one a sense of familiarity. The campaign continues Burton’s vision of Givenchy as a wardrobe for different kinds of women, rather than one singular idea of who the Givenchy woman should be.
