David Koma’s ‘SuperGirl’-Inspired Collection

By September 14, 2026FASHION NEWS

A Close Look.

For Pre-Fall 2026, David Koma turns his attention to the world of Supergirl, translating the superhero’s visual codes into a polished day-to-night wardrobe created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

The collection strikes a balance between comic-book iconography and Koma’s distinctly glamorous vocabulary. Supergirl’s signature palette of blue, red and gold appears across T-shirts, while the designer’s characteristic black anchors a series of sleek dresses. Bonded scuba leather brings structure to the silhouettes, alongside floral appliqué and sculptural details that add a sense of movement and dimension.

Most notably, the collection incorporates the unmistakable “S” shield into its construction, with select pieces cut and shaped to subtly reference the emblem rather than simply reproducing it. The result is a wardrobe that feels rooted in the Supergirl universe while remaining unmistakably David Koma, offering an elevated take on superhero dressing that speaks equally to fashion devotees and fans of the franchise.
