Four designers to know.

Paris Fashion Week is getting a new stop on the schedule as SSENSE unveils “Salon des Refusés”, a one-day pop-up that’s shining a light on some of the very best emerging designers to know this season.

Taking place on 2 October, the Paris event takes its name from the original Salon des Refusés, the 1863 exhibition that gave artists rejected by the official Paris Salon a platform to show their work. Crucially, the upcoming showroom will give fashion fans the chance to see, touch and try on pieces they would normally only discover online.

Among those featured will be Kanika Agarwal, the Paris-based Indian designer known for exploring the space between Indian and European influences, alongside Berlin-raised, London-based Laura Andraschko, whose label draws on the energy of early 2000s nightlife.

Also joining the lineup is London-based Swedish designer Petra Fagerström, who was recently shortlisted for the 2026 LVMH Prize, and Seconda, the Paris-based label founded by Andrea Bertazzon, which works around one collection each year rather than the usual seasonal schedule.

More designers are set to be announced ahead of the event. Stay locked to PAUSE for more updates.
