Stone Island presents Denim Research with Skepta & Stephen Graham

By October 2, 2026FASHION NEWS

It’s classic Stone Island territory.

Stone Island is going back to the lab. For Autumn/Winter ’026–’027, the Italian label is continuing its Stone Island Denim Research project, pushing one of menswear’s most familiar fabrics through the kind of experimentation the brand has built its identity around. Reintroduced last year, the collection returns with four seasonal washes — medium blue, light blue, grey and black — alongside a series of treatments that make each piece feel less like standard denim and more like a study in texture, light and surface. Leading the campaign are Skepta and actor Stephen Graham, appearing as part of Stone Island’s ongoing “Community as a Form of Research” project.

The collection plays with everything from Laser Pigment to Corroded Reflective and Hand Sprayed Reflective, transforming classic silhouettes through processes that make every garment slightly different. Skepta wears a lightweight 13oz denim jacket laminated with a highly reflective film containing thousands of glass microspheres before being manually sprayed for a shaded finish, complete with a detachable down vest. Graham, meanwhile, wears a 13.5oz indigo denim coach jacket that has been stone washed, pigment sprayed and lasered with an irregular pattern before being washed again, creating a unique finish on every piece. Elsewhere, a fatigue shirt replaces the familiar trucker as the collection’s starting point, joined by chambray shirting and brushed indigo flannel
