The latest shades to know.
Looking for a new pair of sunglasses? Jil Sander and Oliver Peoples might have you covered. The two brands have teamed up once again for a second collection, bringing three new frames to the table just in time to refresh your eyewear rotation.
Designed under Jil Sander Creative Director Simone Bellotti, the follow-up instalment from the duo keeps things clean and considered, mixing sharp shapes with softer, rounded details. Each pair is handmade in Japan and finished with lenses made in Italy, with a mix of tonal and juxtaposed colour combos landing across the release.
First up is Edition 7, which keeps things light and easy with a rounded titanium frame, sculpted top bar and curved temples. Edition 9 goes big on proportions with a thick acetate frame and angular shape, while Edition 10 takes a softer approach with a upturned silhouette and rounded edges.
However, colour is where the collection really comes. Alongside everyday black, gold and silver options, the styles come in “Dark Mahogany”, “Taupe”, “Buff”, “Bright Blue” and “Amber”, giving you plenty of options depending on how loud you want to go. Lastly, the lenses keep things varied too, with shades of “Light Brown Wash”, “G-15”, “Indigo”, “Carbon Grey” and “Grey Gradient” rounding things out.
The second drop from Jil Sander x Oliver Peoples is available now through select Jil Sander boutiques, Oliver Peoples stockists and online.
