Topman A/W’12 – Their Boldest Collection Yet!

By September 21, 2012Fashion News

This season what should we be expecting from Topman? One of the biggest high street stores, especially for men’s fashion, Topman is bringing us a whole new collection of stylish attire for this A/W. To describe it in two words, we’d go with rebellious (a word they used to explain their designs for this season) and unconventional. Still something we know and recognize, but with a few surprises and twists on traditional ideas.

Smart and sophisticated but still edgy, the Autumn/Winter collection includes a range of faux-fur, leather and patent styles to choose from. Bombers are back, so the faux-fur bomber is going to be a great addition to your wardrobe, combining two of the biggest looks this season. Fur is going to be a big must have this season, so make sure you grab yourself something! If the bomber isn’t for you, opt for a cardigan or a long sleeved top both of which we are big fans of. The simple faux-fur collar on the classic mens black coat is a nice touch for anyone who wants to rock a bit of fur but isn’t as brave as Kanye!

The knits in this collection are quite adventurous and there are a number of different trendy cardigans to choose from, including a black open one (which would go great with the gold lurex tee!) that we love!

Starting at £30 and going up to £250, this collection has everything from studded belts to smart blazers, from tote bags to feather print tops. Leather is never really ‘out’ of fashion but this season it’s definitely going to be ‘in’. Whether it’s a bold leather jacket or just a pair of gloves to accessorize with, with Topman’s huge selection, it would be a crime not to have at least one leather item in your wardrobe!

One thing you’ll notice straight away with the A/W collection is that it’s very adventurous and features lots of jaw-dropping pieces. It’s a lot more unpredictable than anything we’ve seen before. Visit any of the Topman stores to have a look or go on their website; www.topman.com .
