From the 7th-9th January 2013 London plays host to the largest celebration of British menswear – London Collections: Men. British menswear stems from brilliant sartorial elegance coming from Savile Row to the street wear of East London. It is a unique melting pot, described by Esquire’s editor-in-chief Alex Bilmes as ‘a dialogue between extreme tradition and avant-garde experimentation’.
London Collections: Men not only celebrates London’s illustrious menswear lineage but is also a showcasing platform for emerging British menswear designers.
PAUSE pick of the three-day showcase is Christopher Shannon’s AW13 catwalk show. A NEWGEN MEN recipient, Shannon has already proved himself as a force to be reckoned with. Check out previous collections here.
