The Parisian powerhouse does uber cool for Spring/Summer 2014.
Breton tops, berets and other typically French stereotypes aside, the art of cool is something Parisians do extremely well in. The french are cool, it’s a given.
Never one to disappoint, Pierre Balmain has released imagery for its Spring/Summer 2014 look book. Shot by Andreas Laszlo Konrath we are transported to downtown New York where model Abel van Oeveren is decked in Balmain SS14 finery.
Whether it’s the insouciant rips and studs, lived in denim and leather, it’s unmistakably punk and rebellious. It has teen angst written all over it, albeit a much more refined version and quite frankly we’re mad for it and want it all.
