Bow ties and Dubstep. The perfect cocktail for an evening presentation of the new AW14 Velsvoir x Patrick Hellmann collaboration.
Walking into the Grill Room at the Cafe Royal Hotel was like walking into an ornate dream. With beautifully crafted gold, painted ceilings and walls, and full-length mirrors mounted all over the awe-inspiring room, it was the perfect setting to present a new collection. Velsvoir, known for their fantastic and innovative bow ties, presented smart and well-tailored looks to an avid audience.
Creative braces-cum-lapels finished off some of the looks with a contemporary and unique edge, while brilliant bow ties gave the looks a fantastically debonair feel. The whole aesthetic of the presentation, from the venue to the clothing, was completely luxe and elegant, reflecting the Velsvoir man.
The Velsvoir men, exuding confidence and style, came out in twos to show off the brands latest clothing. A fantastic venue for a fantastic collection.

KTZ’s AW/14 collection gave us their usual dark, street but still rock infused aesthetic with a frosty twist. The models faces were painted a frosted metallic silver to match their frosted clothing.
Lengths were adjusted to make bottoms cropped and tops knee-length creating proportions nearly as interesting as the snow boots that the models strutted down the runway in. The dusty, metallic faced arctic explorer look was further created with parkas and slightly frozen beards. Balloon shaped raincoats were baggy and worn over labyrinth like printed leggings. The labryinth print continued on throughout the collection also appearing on low neck wrestler inspired spandex suits, wet look wind jackets and barrel bags. However the white theme soon wore off and the looks returned to its gothic influences with black and white dominating once again in the striped tracksuits, doubled up coats and emblemed bombers.
We loved the silver chunky accessories and heavy topped look along with their all black fur jacket.
