Zara’s spring lookbook is ready for us all; in its calm colours and casual fits. Tailored trousers are slim fitted and slightly cropped to expose strapped leather sandals or clean running shoes. Formal and casual wear are mixed together to create a more relaxed yet still uptown street wear look, with plain tee’s under blazers and crisp white shirts under zip cuffed hooded jackets. The high fashion touch is present; as in all of Zara’s collections, with subtle details that catch the eye without doing too much. The front pleated shirt is a prime example of this along with their clean-cut faux leather biker jacket. Our PAUSE fave has got to be the sporty plain grey marl sweater with its cut-off, rolled up sleeve that has us itching for the warmer days ahead.

The Elle Style Awards went under way last night, with the gents keeping it smart but showing their personality on the style front. PAUSE have selected our favourites of the night.Tinie Tempah, winner of the Elle ‘best UK recording artist’, wore a manly, magenta DOLCE & GABBANA double breasted suit, styled with a classic bow-tie and finished with loafers. A bold statement that not many men would risk, but Tinie Tempah makes it work. Pharrell Williams, winner of Elle’s “Best Male International Recording Artist” with chart topping hit of ‘Happy’, displayed his go-to designer ALBER ELBAZ’S collection from head to toe. With a black leopard effect blazer with satin peak lapels, black and green two tone cropped trousers and a white tuxedo shirt with accented pearl buttons, Pharrell rocked the image with a signature bow tie and black leather derbies. A few of our other favourites are:
Jamie Bower
David Gandy
Henry Holland
