AMH Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

By March 23, 2014Fashion News

London-based brand; AMH, have just released their SS14 collection which takes inspiration from creative director, Ashley Marc Hovelle’s foreign ventures to some of the worlds major fashion capitals. Hand made in Portugal, not only they pride themselves still on still present, but so is the appealing retro touch they aim to create.

As with all their collections, the base ideas are developed from the creative director as the initial point of reference. His earlier school years led to the school uniform insignia idea that they’ve featured on a few pieces. Paris, New York, Berlin, Tokyo, Rio and London all have their own embroidered badges on 100% cotton box fit tee’s, loopback cotton shorts and crewneck sweaters.

There is an obvious sense of a well-travelled and cultured man feel as well as teases of retro imagery of seaside escapes and playful illusive stripes in all forms, splashed across a huge portion of the collection. The animated motif shirts stood out to us most with its quirky all over lettering print along with the Flores tee.
