Many streetwear brands have started to introduce extended length tee’s to their ranges, however Wreck London were one of the first to do so and have continued this with their white oversized t-shirt, available in both short and long sleeve for a cool spring look. White features quite heavily in this latest collection, with them also releasing zip-up jackets and all-white joggers, a move quite refreshing due to black seemingly taking over.

Also ensuring to give their latest range another dimension, Wreck London have used renaissance prints on a variety of products, from all-over prints to bomber styled jackets and PAUSE’s favourite product, a white baseball jersey with renaissance print and white trim.

Although the range is small, Wreck London is growing and is certainly heading in the right direction.

Let’s get straight to the point, it’s a well-know fact that what you rock on your feet is the most important part of your outfit, right? It’s all about practicality and style – so it’s best you get it right.

As mentioned last week, we’ve all become accustomed to routines and base our fashion choices on comfort and convenience.

Trainers have been around for years, but have fast become an item we tend to neglect – as we’ve never deemed them as stylish or fashionable.

Take a minute to think back to those pair of old, worn, battered trainers which you’d wear everywhere. No matter how many times your Mum nagged you to buy a new pair; you were loyal to your kicks.

So, how exactly do we go about turning the good old trainer into a fashion worthy staple? That’s easy: simplicity.

Less is more when it comes to styling trainers with your daily outfits. If you’ve put a lot of thought into your look, the last thing you want to do is ruin the outfit by pairing trainers with it – it’ll give off the vibe that you couldn’t care less about your footwear.

Yes, trainers lack that trendy notion but they make up for this by having a strong sense of practicality and casualness about them.

When attempting to pull off smart casual with style – don’t stress. The appearance of the suit will keep the formal side in-check, whilst the tee and trainers will bring the casual-feel. It really is that easy to pull, of a cool, simple look that’s stylish, practical and most importantly comfortable.

Make sure you buy and own a suit which fits you, this may seem like a no brainer but you’d be surprised how size could easily kill your outfit. No matter how good your footwear looks, a suit that resembles a maternity range will never win you brownie points.

To keep the focus on your footwear opt for the traditional suit colours of black, navy, grey or khaki –  it’s important to remember that the focus will be on the trainer, so keep the rest of your outfit subtle, clean and sharp.

Keep colours clean and minimal, unless you’re feeling brave that is, if you are, feel free to opt for block colour trainers or even change the colour of the laces – this adds a little bit

There you have it, a little guide on how to rekindle your love for the trainer, and how to pull it off in a modern smart causal way.
