British heritage design house, Alexander McQueen, headed by Sarah Burton, showcased an excellent collection at LC:M. The collection was full of gorgeous menswear staples with an eclectic and bold print. For most of the collection, white was used as a canvas for the print. There were a lot of suits with the prints – double breasted to be particular with swooping peaked lapels. Silhouettes were played with in using oversized shirts and slim tailored suits. Dropped shoulder overcoats with tightly cropped trousers. The collection had a monochrome background with colours popping on top. In a few of the outfits, there were patterns that remind us of previous Thom Browne collections. Either way, this collection was excellent!
