“1970s athletic codes mixed with Hip Hop” Olivier Rousteing said of his Spring/Summer 2015 Collection for Balmain.
The Balmain SS15 lookbook features the model Dudley O’Shaughnessy dressed in geometric beaded jackets with a masculine architectural detailing expressed through the simplistic collection. Futuristic army inspired wear with lots of leather, stripes and beads. Black and white motifs and fresh use of colour. Taking inspiration from the 1970s athletics, Olivier has recreated what military wear is for the future. Bold. Energetic, and graphical.
The collection includes biker jackets, jogging pants, hoodies and open-toed mountain boots. We at PAUSE are seriously loving the techno-coloured biker jackets, number one staple for SS15.
