Christmas is over but that doesn’t mean the festive mood is dying down as New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and it’s time to celebrate the new year with a bang and there is no other way to usher in 2015 but by looking fashionably stylish while saying good riddance to 2014. It’s all about being in with the new and out with the old, so you do want to look your best just while partying the last bit of 2014 away looking good is part of it, as you want to let 2015 know that you are ready for the year ahead.

Here at PAUSE, we’re giving you some tips on how to look your best this New Year’s Eve.

Firstly, you want to dress sharp, you have got to be well put together as when the clock strikes 12, you want to start 2015 looking great and definitely suave. A contemporary suit with some statement touches would be ideal for a great New Year’s Eve party and a bow tie would be a nice classy touch for your ensemble as you bid farewell to 2014.

Suits we would recommend: Noose & Monkey Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection

It’s important to have some statement pieces from shoes or even a fun statement jacket as you want to end the year with a bang and wearing the same old thing just doesn’t cut it, so it’s all about having fun but still looking sartorially on point.

Coat we would recommend: Noose & Monkey Wool Overcoat

Even with a turtleneck, sweaters or just a t-shirt, adding a blazer to your outfit adds sophistication instantly, so a good fitted blazer is essential. Just remember it’s going to be cold as well so materials like tweed and corduroys would be great as you watch the fireworks while you keep warm and look stylishly good at the same time. Opt for luxury materials such as velvet or even some touch of sequins for a little sparkle, don’t shy away for some dazzle, it’ll make your outfit just a little more festive. Just keep in mind that during New Year’s Eve, it’s  about looking smart but not formal, relaxed but not casual.
