Nike have crossed over into the world of luxury fashion.
Pairing up with Japanese brand, Sacai, the collection sees a coming together of to distinct styles. Sacai have taken the Air Max 90’s and Nike Dunks and stripped them of their sport detailing.
With the full collection revealed of the Air Max 90’s silhouette, Sacai has removed it’s lacing system making it look like a high-top variation of a unique slip-on shoe. A luxurious leather upper in both Navy, neon and white, for three different colourways, and an elastic tongue. 3D swoosh embossed on each for. With fabric insole in contrasting colours, these could potentially be a big hit. The Air Max 90 is available in shades of obsidian/black with volt lining, volt/obsidian with volt lining, and wolf gray with volt lining.
No release date set just as yet but we are expecting it to be sometime soon. While this one is for the women, guys can only hope they get a collaboration similar , or if your really interested buy a women’s pair.
The collaboration will be available at NikeLab from the 19th of March as part of their Spring/Summer 2015 collection in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
