We may focus on streetwear here at PAUSE, but that doesn’t mean we don’t care about other occasions we have to dress for. We’re working on a prom guide for you soon on how to look good for prom, but for now PAUSE is focusing on how to dress when heading to the casino. It’s important to look the part when you head to a casino and here are a few things we suggest you do.

Sometimes dressing for the casino can be quite a tricky one, as every casino has a different dress code. Quick tip before you start planning what to wear is head to the casino’s site and check what they do and do not accept. Finding the right outfit will keep you winning through your casino games, whether online or offline.

One PAUSE option when heading to the casino, whether that is on the streets of Mayfair or the high life of Las Vegas, is a cool fitted shirt and skinny-cropped trousers to be on trend for the SS15. We say this is are go-to option as this will be accepted in any casino you go into, meaning no embarrassment moment for being turned away from what you’re wearing.

Footwear game with a shirt and trousers when inside a casino has to be shoes. More so than ever there seems to be plenty of smart shoes out there. Monk strap, loafers, brogues and even desert boots are all appropriate options.

Let’s take inspiration from the MET Gala the other week for formal wear. Black tie was an obvious choice, but others like Justin Bieber and his gold dragon suit, Miguel and a bold red blazer and then Mike B Jordan with a Dolce&Gabbana tux and embroidered detailing has shown us new ways on how we can do formal in a different way.

METGALA
If casual is accepted in your casino then you can perhaps swap out the trousers for denim if you’re not one for being suited and booted, but PAUSE still advises wearing shoes over trainers, you wouldn’t catch Daniel Craig in superstars or braving the trainers and trousers trend.

So next time you’re going to the casino, find out the dress code and then follow our tips on casino attire. What’s your outfit of choice?

London Lout Logo

London Lout is the ultimate streetwear retail store, which was created 4 months ago with no funding but a lot of dedication by Andrew and Kristina Andreou, who gained a lot of success both in the UK and USA.

“We are different from other online streetwear stores as we work with like minded brands who have also started from the grass roots”, Andreou said.

The constantly growing wide range of avant-garde and young talents that started from scratch includes 7 UK brands and 3 brands from overseas.

With a great sense of style and a particular attention to urban aesthetics, the website was created  to be the home for the most exclusive and new high-end streetwear brands, such as Wreck London, Ginge London, SSUR, Caviar-Cartel and King Apparel.

It offers a great choice of crawneck sweatshirts, hoodies, tracksuits and joggers, as well as t-shirts, jeans and accessories like beenies and snapbacks.

The products are affordable, with a price range that varies from £20 to £100.
