Commemorative sneakers aren’t usually the most innovative, fresh styles out there, usually overlooking contemporary design for a slice of retrospect, yet the new Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” is the exception.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Jordan Brand has released a bespoke, luxury version of Mike’s first signature sneaker, dubbed the “Pinnacle”.
Emblazed with a stylish snake and stingray pattnerned leather, and available in both black and off-white colourways, the sneaker exudes luxury down to its very last detail. 24-karat gold accents adorn the shoes aesthetic, including “1985 and “MJ23” badges on each heel as well as subtle gold detailing across the eyelets and tongue to complete the look.
Refined with a supremely clean white sole that offers a crisp contrast to the deluxe sneaker upper, the latest edition to the Jordan family is here to make a statement.
The Black colourway of the Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” is set to launch on May 9th at select retailers worldwide, while the off-white version is set to follow on June 13th.
