Moschino gets the Jeremy Scott effect
Defying the norms of fashion for the Moschino Spring/Summer 2016, Jeremy Scott once again shows us why he is ranked amongst the best fashion designers in the world, at Florence’s Palazzo Corsini. Loaded with flamboyant and eccentric designs, Moschino has been refurbished with Jeremy Scott’s ingenuity.
Materialising inspirations taken from the likes Louis XVI and Giovanni Casanova to the Moto GP, the designer produced a fun, flavourful collection that threw all caution to the wind for both formal and casualwear. The collection showcases garments ranging from parkas featuring motorcycle race suit logos to tailcoats beautifully decorated with gold embroideries, finished massive crowns worn by models to add to the luxurious substance of the presentation. Other outfits included cotton shirts co-ordinated with denim pants, which were printed with images of precious gems, as well as other opulent garments.
