Just days after the Lord of Darkness unveiled another outré collection at Paris Fashion Week, Rick Owens partners with adidas for another footwear collection, ensuring that the limelight remains on him during Spring/Summer 2016.
Experimenting with his highly successful tech runner silhouette, the designer has produced two new sneaker designs in synchrony with two very familiar sneakers. The two new sneakers, Cargo Sandals and Clog, both use the base of the tech runner to provide a luxurious leather foot bed; however, differ in terms of design, as the Cargo Sandals offers a zippered upper with an MA-1 style pocket for convenience and practicality. If you are not in need of an extra shoe pocket, then the Clog is right up your street. Releasing in conjunction with these are the famed Tech Runner in two new colour palettes of military green and amber orange, whilst the Superstar Ripple Boots have been offered in two new shades of brown for the upcoming season.
